Sep 12, 2016St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley.Lee was born to Charles and Zexa (Porch) Williams on Jan. 6, 1923, in Toluca. He was a graduate of LaRose Community High School. He married Katherine Louks on Jan. 23, 1947, in Dover.He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. Lee was the owner and operator of McHenry Machine Company in Princeton for many years. He was a member of the Union Local 150 Crane Operators, the First United Methodist Church, Princeton Masonic Lodge, VFW, American Legion, Moose, Elks Lodge, Bureau County Farm Bureau, the Standard Club and Woodcrafters Unlimited Association. Lee loved to dance and spend time with his family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He is survived by one daughter, Pat (Dwight) Nelson of Princeton; two sons, Edward Williams of Amboy and John Williams of Princeton; a special friend, Rosemary Strenk of LaSalle; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Lee was preceded in death by his wife in 1988 and two brothers, Paul and Walter.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton with the Rev. Brian Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton.Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the funeral home, with a Masonic service starting at 6 p.m. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established.Online condolences may be left at www.norbergfh.com.
